A cold store or a growing facility is a building whose whole purpose is to hold a temperature and a humidity against the outside. The envelope is not a component of the design; it is the design.
The same properties that make the panel work for a house work harder here: continuous insulation with no bridge, low air infiltration, and a core that does not absorb water or feed anything biological.
These are also buildings where the interior environment is a product specification rather than a comfort preference, so the tolerance for a cold spot or an air leak is much lower.
