Quality assurance and inspection
Guardian is the exclusive fabricator and certifies the third-party components; the installed system is subject to the review, inspection and approval of the authorising building officials.
Quality assurance runs on three levels in the specification. Guardian is the exclusive fabricator of the system's wall and roof panels. The contractor is required to be knowledgeable in proper installation. And Guardian certifies third-party supplied components — EPS, light-gauge steel, fasteners, adhesives — as to their quality and suitability for use.
On the regulatory side, the panels can be designed to meet or exceed all code requirements for structural and fire safety and can be in accordance with all applicable building codes, including high-velocity hurricane zones.
Third-party inspection is not optional: the system is subject to the review and approval of the authorising building officials, and so is its installation.
