What the site must have ready
Foundations and sub-structures must be dimensionally accurate, square, level and plumb, inspected and confirmed as such, with concrete complete and properly cured.
The specification is specific about this, and it is the single most common source of trouble on a panelised job. Foundations and all sub-structures the system connects to must be dimensionally accurate, square, level and plumb, within accepted building tolerances, and must be inspected and approved as such.
The contractor provides that inspection and confirms the accuracy to Guardian. Any adverse condition is to be reported in writing to the owner, the architect and Guardian, and installation does not proceed until it is corrected.
Concrete foundations or slabs on grade must be complete and properly cured and ready to accept the wall panel anchorages and attachments before installation begins. Installation is coordinated with the other trades.
